Yes, VOLT The World Around Us is aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2022. It uses hands-on, activity-based methods, interactive tasks, and fosters 21st-century skills.

NCERT-based EVS textbooks are formally recommended generally from Classes 3 to 5. For Classes 1–2, EVS content is often integrated informally rather than through a formal textbook.

It offers an interactive, experiential learning approach — including stories, puzzles, animations, and hands-on tasks rather than just text. It is NEP/NCF-aligned and skill-focused, not only content-heavy. It provides digital + print material, supporting blended learning and making it more flexible than many standard textbooks.
